Tomas Slovak

Tomas Slovak is a Slovakian defenseman on Automobilist Ekaterinburg.

Slovak was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2001 NHL Draft by the Nashville Predators after an impressive career in the Slovakian junior league. He played five seasons in the North American minor leagues, posting 71 points in the WHL during the 2002-03 season, but never cracked an NHL lineup. He returned to Europe in 2006, and played with Mora IK in the Elitserien briefly before spending time in both Finland and Slovakia. He played two years in the German professional leagues before joining Automobilist Ekaterinburg in 2009. He put up 66 penalty minutes and 6 points in his first KHL season.
