He made his Russian Super League debut in 2005 with Dynamo Moscow, but played just 2 games before being traded to Metallurg Novokuznetsk. He then played a season in Belarus, where he scored 40 points as the captain of Metallurg Zhobin. He joined Dinamo Riga the following year, and led the team to the playoffs as its captain. He joined Amur Khabarovsk in 2009, and had 18 points in his first season with the club.

Sirokovs played for Latvia at the 2010 Olympic Games.
