Sergei Varlamov is a Ukrainian left winger on Dynamo Minsk.

Varlamov played a number of seasons in North America, beginning in 1994, when he joined the Nelson Maple Leafs in the RMJHL. He then played three seasons with the Swift Current Broncos in the WHL, where he had a number of impressive seasons. He had 46 goals and 85 points in 1996-97, and set a career high with 66 goals and 119 points, along with 132 penalty minutes the following year. He was called up to the Calgary Flames for one game that year as well. He also won the Player of the Year for the WHL in 1998. He played most of the next three seasons in the AHL with the Saint John Flames, where he won the Calder Cup in 2001, scoring 21 goals and 51 points. He was traded to St. Louis in 2001, and played two seasons with the Blues, scoring 12 points in 55 NHL games. He returned to Russia in 2004, signing with Ak Bars Kazan, but played in just two games before being traded to Sibir Novosibirsk. He played four years with the club before joining SKA St. Petersburg in 2008. He was traded to Severstal Cherepovets early in the seasons, and signed with Dynamo Minsk midway through the 2009-10 season.
