Nikolai Pronin

Nikolai Pronin is a Russian right winger on CSKA Moscow.

Pronin began his career with CSKA Moscow in 1996, scoring 10 points and 12 penalty minutes in his rookie year. He was sent down to the Russian Second League for two years in 1999, and posted 68 points during that time. He scored a career high 40 points with the team in 2001-02, along with 80 penalty minutes, and helped the club earn a promotion back to the Super League. He was traded to HK Atlant in 2005, where he had the best pro season of his career in 2007-08, scoring 34 points and 123 penalty minutes. He spent 2009-10 with Metallurg Magnitogorsk, and was dealt back to his original team in 2010. He was named team captain for the 2010-11 season.
