Egor Averin

Egor Averin is a Russian forward on Avangard Omsk.

Averin has played his entire career in the Omsk system, beginning in 2005, when he joined the club's minor league team in the Russian Third League. He played three years in the Third League, aside from a brief call-up in 2006-07. He was called up permanently in 2007, and has stuck with the club since. In 2009-10, he had 13 goals and 19 points, along with 28 penalty minutes in 53 games.

Averin won a gold medal at the U18 World Juniors in 2007.
