Dmitri Vlasenkov
Dmitri Vlasenkov is a Russian left winger on Avangard Omsk.
Vlasenkov was drafted by Calgary in 1996, after playing 17 games with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl the previous season. He opted to remain in Russia, where he would play the next four seasons with Yaroslavl. In 1999-00, he set a career high with 20 assists, finishing the year with 35 points and 10 penalty minutes. He spent the next season in the IHL with the Orlando Solar Bears, but returned to Lokomotiv Yaroslavl the following season. In 2005-06, he set career highs with 18 goals, 36 points and 57 penalty minutes. He won back-to-back league titles with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in 2002 and 2003. In 2007, he signed with HK Atlant, where he played until being traded to Avangard Omsk in 2009. He was named an alternate captain for Omsk in 2009, and retained the title for the 2010-11 season.
Vlasenkov won a bronze medal at the 1997 World Juniors with Russia, followed by a silver medal at the 1998 World Juniors.
