Evgeni Skachkov
Evgeni Skachkov is a Russian left winger on Ak Bars Kazan.
Skachkov was drafted in 2003 by the St. Louis Blues, after scoring 8 points with Kapitan Stupino in the EEHL, but never made the transition to North America. He played a few more years in the Russian Third League before becoming a full-time senior pro player with Traktor Chelyabinsk in 2006. He scored 22 points in his first full season in the Russian Super League. In 2009-10, he set career highs with 22 goals, 36 points and 143 penalty minutes, and was signed by Ak Bars Kazan for the 2010-11 season.
