Alexei Tereschenko
Alexei Tereschenko is a Russian center on Ak Bars Kazan.
Tereschenko was drafted by the Dallas Stars in 2000, after putting up 9 points for the Russians in the World Juniors, but opted to sign with Dynamo Moscow instead of coming to the NHL. He played the next five seasons with the team, winning his first league title with the club in 2005. He signed with Ak Bars Kazan the next year, and saw his production jump over the next few seasons. He was dealt to Salavat Yulaev Ufa in 2007, where he had a career year in 2008-09, scoring 29 goals and 57 points, as well as winning his second league title in 2008. He returned to Ak Bars Kazan in 2009, and won the Gagarin Cup with the team.
Tereschenko won a silver medal with Russia at the 2000 World Juniors, as well as a silver medal at the 2010 World Championships. He won back-to-back gold medals at the 2008 and 2009 World Championships.
