Georgy Gelashvili
Georgy Gelashvili is a Russian goalie on Metallurg Magnitogorsk.
Gelashvili toiled for seven seasons in various Russian junior leagues and even spent a few seasons in the Kazakhstan professional leagues before ever getting his shot at a full-time job in the Russian SuperLeague. He spent two seasons with Traktor Chelyabinsk, where he had impressive numbers and earned himself a job with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. In 2008-09, he posted a 1.86 GAA and .933 save percentage while playing in 50 games. He played another year with the team before joining Magnitogorsk in 2010. He has split the starting duties with the club so far this year, but hasn't been able to replicate the success he had with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl.
