Bryan Rodney

Bryan Rodney is a Canadian defenseman in the Carolina Hurricanes’ organization.

Rodney was never drafted by an NHL team, but worked his way into the Canes’ system after 9 years in the OHL and ECHL. He put up 76 points in his best OHL season with the Kingston Frontencas in 2003-04, but has never put up similar numbers in the AHL. He joined the Albany River Rats in 2007, and spent two years with the club before being called up to Carolina in 2008. He played 30 NHL games over the last two seasons, scoring 1 goal and 13 points, and will compete for a roster spot in 2010-11.
