Dustin Johnson is an American professional golfer and former World No.1 on the Official World Golf Rankings. He first reached the top spot in February 2017 and held it for a total of 135 weeks. He has won the Masters Tournament and the US Open. Johnson used to play in the PGA Tour, but now he plays on the LIV Golf Series.

In 2007, he won the Monroe Invitational and the Northeastern Amateur. Johnson also played for the United States in the Walker Cup and the Palmer Cup in the same year.

Professional Career

He turned pro in 2007 and has his first win on the PGA Tour in 2008 at the Turning Stone Resort Championship. He beat Robert Allenby by one stroke. In 2010, he won the BMW Championship. He followed this up by winning 2011 The Barclays.

In 2012, he won the FedEx St Jude Classic. One of the biggest wins in his career came in June 2016 when he won the US Open by three strokes. That year, he would also win the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational and his second BMW Championship.

In 2017, he won the Genesis Open and later the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play. These wins helped propel him to the No.1 spot in the world rankings. In 2020, he won the Tour Championship. Later that year, he won his first Masters Tournament. In February 2021, Johnson won the Saudi International.

In 2022, he started playing in the LIV Golf Invitational Series and he won the LIV Golf Invitational Boston.
