Ryan Armour is an America pro golfer. Born on February 27, 1976 as Ryan Patrick Armour ion Akron, Ohio, he turned pro in 1999. Prior to that Armour attended Walsh Jesuit High School and Ohio State University and earned third-team All AMerican Honors in 1998 and was selected in the All-Big Ten Squad in 1995 and 1998. He also reached the finals of the 1993 US Junior tournament, finishing second only to Tiger Woods.

He is a member of the Nationwide Tour where he played from 2004 to 2006. In 2002 and 2003 he played for the NGA Hooters Tour, as well as for the Golden Bears tour in 2003.

He finished T13 on qualifying school to earn a spot at the 2007 PGA Tour season. He made three top ten finishes during this year, placing fourth at the Mayakoba Golf Classic in Mexico.

He also qualified for the FedEX cup in the same year. In 2008, due to problems with putting and his short game, Armour finished 172th on the PGA Tour money list, losing his PGA Tour card. Armour had to settle for the Nationwide Tour in 2009 following this drop in the rankings. This setback that sent him back to Nationals saw him make 7-of-12 cuts and two high finishes. He managed to place at 31st on the money list, earning him the much sought-after PGA tour card for the 2010 season.

A former Silver Lake resident, Armour now lives in Florida with his wife Erin and son Patrick.
