Career

He won his first PGA Tour event in 2020, this was the Vivint Houston Open. He is the third Mexican to have won on the PGA Tour. The others are Cesar Sanudo and Victor Regalado.
In 2022, he started playing on the LIV Tour and got suspended from the PGA Tour as a consequence.
