Bryson DeChambeau is an American professional golfer known to have won ten professional games, including two European Tours and eight PGA Tours. He has one major championship, won in the 2020 US Open when he defeated Matthew Wolff. As an amateur player, he became the fifth golfer to win the US Amateur and NCAA Division I championship in one year. His fans call him “The Scientist” because of his scientific and analytical approach to playing golf. He uses customized clubs with the same length wedges and irons with thicker grips.
With a single stroke scored (-8) 280, DeChambeau became the first amateur golfer of the SMU Mustang who won the NCAA Individual Championship. Later in August 2015, he defeated Derek Bard and took over the US Amateur title. DeChambeau is the fifth player to win two titles – US Amateur and NCAA – in one year. He joins Ryan Moore, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and Jack Nicklaus. He became a professional golfer in April 2016 and has been part of Cobra-Puma Golf.

After that year, he defeated Patrick Rodgers and won the John Deere Classic as his initial PGA Tour victory. In 2018, DeChambeau played in Las Vegas and achieved his triumph in the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. The prize money for that tour was 1,260,000 Dollars. This title improved his Official World Golf Ranking to fifth place. Later that year, DeChambeau became part of the 2019 Presidents Cup to represent the United States and play at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club held in Australia. They won the match with a score of 16 – 14.
Even during the COVID-19 outbreak, he did not waste time and used his break to gain some weight to boost his swing speed. In the mid-2020, DeChambeau played at Detroit and won the Rocket Mortgage Classic over Matthew Wolff. Earlier in March 2021, he participated in a match at Orlando, Florida, and became the winner of the Arnold Palmer Invitational. He took over the title from Lee Westwood with a single shot. Bryson is skilled and young, so golf fans expect he will have more opportunities to win major championship trophies in the future.
