Two-time British Open winner Greg Norman says his Australian protege Adam Scott can win many more majors after his breakthrough at the US Masters on the weekend.
Scott was quick to thank Norman for his guidance after claiming victory on Sunday and Norman returned the praise, claiming Scott - who collapsed to lose last year’s British Open - would go on to win plenty more majors.
“Adam is a great player and I’m confident this victory will catapult him to win more Majors,” Norman said.
“It will not surprise me if he wins more major championships than any other Australian golfer in history.
“Adam’s an incredible competitor. He’s not a guy that wants to sit back and relax and rest on his laurels.
“He has incredible fire within his system. And a victory like this is going to give him tremendous confidence as he moves forward in his career.”
