Sean O’Hair did not drop a shot until his final hole .O’Hair has three short birdies and has a 5-under 56 and got a got a three shot lead over Jason Gore, while Tiger Woods was in fifth place, five shots behind O’ Hairs’ first three birdies were all within 8 feet and he was able to have a putt at birdie on all except the three holes.
O’Hair will be in the final group on Saturday with Gore. O’Hair was at 8-under 32 while Gore had four birdies and four bogeys for a 70.
O’Hair said although the rough are very penal but he greens are absolutely good and all you have to do is give yourself some nice opportunities. If you give yourselves this opportunity you won’t notice that all of sudden you became an 8 or a nine.
O’ Hair appreciated Dave Love 111 who had a 74 and missed the cut. He said your really have to stay focus since it won’t take too much to go in the wrong direction. O’Hair further said that you don’t really have to hit it sideways just a bit here and there and then you would be giving yourself a pretty good fight and opportunities.
