On the second round of the Women’s British Open, Bo Bae Song managed to take early clubhouse lead by shooting a 4-under 68 despite a bogey on the last hole. At the halfway mark, Song moved to 8-under 136 and was tied to Juli Inkster, leader of the first round of the Women’s British Open.bo bae song

Song is not surprised by being able to take an early clubhouse lead after how she has performed for the past two days of the Women’s British Open. However, Song still refuses to relax because there is still a lot more golf to play for the remaining days of the Women’s British Open especially when she has to compete against Juli Inkster for the top spot. While Song played an impressive rookie year and even more so in the year 2005 when she won the Samsung Ladies Masters in Singapore, Juli Inkster still proves to be tough competition. At the age of 48, Juli is determined to become the oldest winner of a women’s major.

Aside from Juli Inkster, Song also has other players to worry about in this year’s Women’s British Open. Natalie Gulbis is tied with Japan’s Ai Miyazato while Laura Diaz is trying to make another LPGA record on the tour.
