Looks like Steven Piennar isn't going to be playing against Crystal Palace Saturday.
Guess we'll have to wait till Aug. 11 against Wigan Athletic to see if he's as impressive in action as he has been in training.

Seems like the paper works for the different players in the league is getting done on the dot, and sometimes too late. It is not unheard of that some players miss the deadline, or even get it way too late, even after they have played.
Would think that the different teams would have a team of legal experts that could push this through for them.

The teams can't be very organised if they are completing paper work too late

I think many times the problem is the negotiations takes too long and is too close to the start of the season. Then paper work probably takes time to get approved by the government.....
I would assume that these clubs have lawyers and experts in the field. Using some 100.000s a year on legal costs is nothing compared to the salaries that are paid...
