Stelios Giannakopoulos in hernia surgery

Stelios Giannakopoulos is going to have hernia surgery and will miss the first three games of the season. This is very bad for the team. On top of this there's rumours that Anelka will depart from the team and move to Valencia...anyone knows something about this?

Yeah, Valencia are probably in talks with the Trotters but so is Arsenal and Man U - safe bet he's off to another team though.

I am not so sure. Sammy Lee said he had not received an offer for Anelka. Apparently this is the club's official stance.
