Will The Celtics Win The Championship Again?
With the current trade of players and with the coming of Garnett, Allen, and Pierce (all superstars in NBA) will they have a chance of getting the NBA championship again? But these three players will not be the only one to play on the court. They need 2 more players and the problem is, who must be those players to really have definite win in the game? I could remember the combination of Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman. The bulls did win from the great contributions of those 3. Could Garnett, Allen, and Pierce do the same with Celtics?
It's definitely possible, but I have my doubts. Maybe in a year or 2 we'll see some results, but I doubt we'll see much this year. Sometimes it takes a team a few years to really get used to eachother, and capitalize on everyones strengths.
YES, OH YES...I can see it happening in the near future. But as THE Legend said, it may take some time for the team to gel together properly.
I really don't think they'll make it. Just because they have a few good players doesn't mean they'll adapt and get along with the rest of the team right away. Look at other teams really. Some players want to be traded so they don't play well - on purpose. For example, like Vince Carter on the Raptors.
I think it is definetely possible, though may be improbable. The new lineup might not "gel" properly, at least at first. Time will tell.
I have to agree with KickinItGood. The Celtics must have team work in order to get the championship. The great players cannot do anything if they are the only ones playing in the team. I mean, nobody in your team can have the basketball to shoot if there is no rebounder to get it from the other team.
