Hip Injury

I never like the idea of any players doing their deal when they should be rested. Sometimes I think they are rushed back way too soon.

How bad is this hip injury? He was pulled out of the game because of it and if I understand it is pretty painful. Apparently he was already playing with a little pain there when he got hit again. Do you think he should sit against Barcelona to give it a chance to get better. I'd hate to see him get an injury that would jeopardize his career. He is tough but sometimes when you're injured you can try to be too tough.

Some of these injuries, if not properly taken care of, can be career ending. It's not worth it, especially in a team sport - let the rest of the team step up to the plate.

Manchester's owner seems to be pretty adamant about Rooney being able to play against Chelsea. Rooney himself is being pretty cocky about things, claiming the League crown is going to be his.
