Twenty20 Champions League announced today that the T20 Champions League Tournament will be held September 25-October 11, 2009. However the ICC has rescheduled the Champions League Tournament for October 2009. The Champions League rescheduled their tournament due to security concerns in Pakistan. This poses a scheduling conflict for Pakistan, the current Champions League Trophy holders.

This is a shame but if they really have that many concerns then it needs to be done. Can't risk the players just to meet the other team's schedule.

Nowadays there seems to be fewer cases of scheduling conflicts. I think as the Sport has continued to grow, so has its organization.

Scheduling conflicts are a show of disorganization. All the matches should be planned well at the start of the season to avoid any clashes.

Cases of scheduling conflicts have greatly reduced over the last couple of years. That is a good indication that the sport is in a good trajectory in general.

Sometimes scheduling conflicts come about as a result of unplanned matches cropping up in the middle of the season. This is pretty standard and should be understandable.

These days there is by all accounts less instances of booking clashes. I think as the Sport has kept on developing, so has its association.
