What was your favorite Yankees season?

Very few sports teams have had the legends and the epic seasons that the Yankees have had.
Of all these many seasons, do you have any particular favorite ones which stand out to you?
If so, what made that season so special in your eyes?

I like any season they beat the red Sox. I'm not too picky and thats on my list of great things in a season. Whether they make it to the World Series is icing on the cake if they beat the Sox.
