Friday wearing Santa hats and big grins they visited a section of the bronx and distributed gifts to more than 300 children. Its so nice to see that the players are still doing good things for the community even if some of them are on drugs.

That's a nice thing for them to do. Athletes have a great life, they should be expected to give back to the community a bit and support the ones that support them.

See? Even I cannot help but smile at this bit of news! Even if we normally dislike the players, charity work is always worth of some respect. Well done boys, now kick the steroids please!

Perhaps as penance they will spread more good cheer than usual, heaven knows people need it this year with the economy so screwed up. It definitely makes me feel better to know they are thinking of others than themselves and their big paychecks.

Its real nice to hear, after all the bad that you see with sports people in the news doing not the most cheerful things you know. :)

I thought a couple of years back, some sports team or organization came up with a team members go out to hospitals, like this is done by so many members of teams each year, is that still around?

Rivera and Abreu's holiday generosity is heartwarming! It reminds me of the joy I feel when I finally conquer a difficult level. It's like maneuvering that Snake Game, steadily growing and overcoming obstacles. Speaking of the snake game, has anyone else been playing it lately? It's a classic way to unwind amidst the holiday buzz. Their charitable acts definitely deserve celebration.
