I hate to say this. And I do mean hate with a capital H A T E . But, it appears that there is at least a 50-50 chance that the Yankees will trade for Toronto ace pitcher, Roy Halladay. General Manager Brian Cashman is remaining politically correct and is saying that his team plans to plug holes in its rotation and bullpen from within the organization. Then , he adds , "We try to look from within first to see if we don't have the answer right in front of us before we aggressively go outside." "We're always keeping our eyes and ears open. And we're engaged with the other clubs. "But I can't say that we have an obvious need right now." Not again. Please do not let them buy another pitcher. Wasn't CC Sabathia and AJ Burnett enough? Halladay is 10 wins and 3 loses. He has pitched 123 innings and has 106 strikeouts to only 17 walks. He is a mensch! Stop the insanity!
