Do you think LeBron has a valid point when he comes out and says that he wants the NBA to permanently retire #23 in honoring Micheal Jordan?

No. Jordan was a great player, but the only number in sports that has ever been retired was #42 for Jackie Robinson. He deserved that honor because he was the first black man to openly play in the major leagues and is credited in bringing an end to racial segregation in professional baseball, which had reduced African-Americans to the Negro leagues for six decades.
