Cricket has been played in Denmark since the mid-19th century, with the first club being formed in 1865 by English railway engineers. The first organised match was played the following year between two teams of English players, with the first matches involving Danish players taking place in 1866. The game expanded greatly over the following twenty years, with 30 new clubs being formed in 1883. This is quite interesting to know that their best result was when the team came third place in 1986

Very interesting facts.. I also found out that as part of the succes of Denmark Cricket team they were able to play in the inaugural edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League from August 2019, after finishing in Division Three of the old ICC World Cricket League.

First India and now Denmark's history? Well I do not mind because as a newbie to this sport the more info the better. In any case at least this sport is getting the spotlight now. This is a good thing.

Wow, 1865 is such a long time ago. The team has been in existence for well over a century. Very impressive indeed.

Given their rich cricket history, Denmark should be one of the top teams. They have been improving steadily recently which is a good thing.
