Kings XI Punjab's abysmal performance in this edition of IPL hit a new low yesterday. The team lost to Royal Challengers. The indifferent fielding with dropped catches saw the team at the bottom of the league table. Had they held on to all the catches and fielded well, perhaps Kings XI Punjab had a good chance of winning. We can only wish the team better luck next time around.
Yes, the performance of Kings XI Punjab have been bad. Nothing seems to be working for them. Some drastic measures are to be taken to restructure the team. Well, they are out of the reckoning for a berth in the semis. They can only hope for the best in IPL4 season.
Kings XI Punjab and the Deccan Chargers both seem to be in need of some serious restructuring next season. They both are having trouble getting things together.
Or we can look at the other side of the story wherein the other teams are well prepared on their games. I would agree that the Kings and the Chargers do need some fixing to do with how they play their games to be able to stand up against the other teams.
That's a good way to think about it. Yes the other teams are well prepared and the Kings has to be restructured to better compete with the other teams.
After their abysmal performance, Kings XI have come into their form. They have given their home crowd a match winning performance beating table toppers Mumbai Indians. But, it's too late for them. However, they have something to cheer about atleast now.
