AB de Villiers

AB de Villiers is not only an excellent batsman. He is top notch in the field and keeps a mean wicket. I was just reading on his website that cricket is not his only interest. He loves music, plays the guitar and is planning to release a CD soon.

Some of the videos I have ran across are just crazy to think about. I am pretty sure these guys all end up coming from a long line of sportsmen with some magic to it. I see these folks running about and I wonder why I feel so lazy all the time.

It is just amazing how he seemingly plucks the ball out of nowhere and manages to hit the stumps. I have seen this guy do a somersault and hit the stumps like he never took his eyes off the wicket.

I know what you mean. The truly great players always make it look so effortless but that's the result of a lot of practice as well as natural talent. AB has a lot of talent to begin with and he just seems to be getting better the longer he plays.

Once I was watching a game and he seemingly flew threw the air to catch the ball and then flipped it over his shoulder and managed to hit the wicket. It's just unbelievable this man's talent. He was definitely born to play cricket.
