After over 30 years at Texas stadium, they are finally hoping to move in 2009, with the start of that years season. As much as I like Texas Stadium, it's probably about time for them to move. Some teams switch stadiums seemingly every 5 years, and a popular team like the Cowboys hasn't. Go figure huh? So what are your thoughts on this?

I have been to several games in Texas Stadium. Although it was lacking in some of the modern touches, it real is a nice place to see a game. The parking situation was a bit challenging. They had lots of parking but you had a good mile - 2 miles to walk to get to the gates. I am not sure the new place will be better in that regards, but if just adds a few new touches it should be a great place to see a game.

over the years, the stadium has become very antiquated with very updates. That hike from the parking lot is like a mile, which is insane. Have seen the sketches for the new stadium and it looks state of the art.

Yeah, based on what I have seen so far...it looks VERY nice.Pretty sure this will be well worth the wait, as it looks to be a real work of art. The Cowboys will be proud to call it home, or at least I would!

In a place like Dallas, where the first 2-3 home games are always in the heat, the current stadium is so messed up with the fans in shelter but with no air and the field open/uncovered. Just not a comfortable modern stadium.

I hadn't seen anything about the new stadium until I looked it up a little while ago. The "concept pictures" or whatever the heck it was look very promising.

Heh, I really like the concept. Took them long enough to start a new Stadium though, let me tell ya! Hopefully it will be finished on time, but I wouldn't bet on it.
