I doubt it... money in sports is tightly related to the performance. Sponsors may like their logos on jerseys of important players but if these players don't play well enough, people will stop coming to watch. KKR may have the biggest stadium and all, but if they don't do well,no one will watch them. Consistency is the key.
It will happen but only if they win something... Last time round, they started with a bang, but fizzled out... They need to continue on that form this year...
Those god awful black and gold jerseys are symbolic at this point. Don't think you'll see those changing as too many other things would have to be changed as well. Let's hope they have a better season this time around.
I must agree that the successful performance of the team will be the determining factor as to if the team remains profitable. It does not profit a sponsor to have their logo on the jersey of a team that no one is going to watch.
Profit for all is always good but if the team is not holding their own I see no way for profit to come in here. That would be like "Okay I am going to pay you a ton of money and we are going to sell a ton of *pick anything and insert here* but you can slack off as much as you want.
Just does not make sense.
I still haven't figured out how they managed to get the sponsorships they did but you can bet that they won't stick around if the KKR doesn't start winning some matches. They do have a few good players but they just can't seem to pull it together this season.

One thing you can be sure of is that sponsors won't continue to support teams that are not making a profit. They are going to have to start showing some definite improvement if they want these top notch sponsors to stick around.
I believe that KKR has what it takes to pull through but it is going to be rough with this slow start they are getting. I do believe though that this slow start will eventually start to effect their profits.
