Blast creates panic at Bangalore IPL venue
The reports of explosion is uncertain but it has created panic in the scenario of Indian Premier League (IPL) match that was to take lift between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Though the explosion is stated to be of moderate intensity but unfortunately in its impact four policemen and a private security guard were injured creating a panic in the entire scenario of the cricket match. Reportedly it is heard that the blast took off before 45 minutes of the match opening and on account of this Police Commissioner Shankar Bidari informed, "It appears an explosive was planted near gate no 12 which went off around 3.15 p.m. We have asked forensic experts to examine the site.†According to the Police Commissioner the match that was to relay from 4 p.m. had to be delayed and added, "The match will go on.
