Possibly, but only because he is approaching the other players at an angle that they may not be fully comfortable with unless they are used to playing left-handed players.
I can potentially see a left hander being able to take out players not used to a left hander, simply because they could spin the ball differently for instance. I would think though that studying the guy's past matches could help to reduce that advantage.
Isn't it also an issue for baseball players who are not used to a left handed bowler? (not even sure its bowler for baseball but you know what I mean.)
I thought that the opposite was true-that writing is a problem because they smudge their writing, they are moving towards it always or have to slope in such a way as to avoid it.
That depends. I have seen some leftys that have impeccable hand writing that can easily put mine to shame. Most that I know end up holding most of their hand higher than us rightys do, but thats still gotta be tiresome. I could not imagine the difference in sports.
