Does anyone know the selection process that is used to determine who can play for the Railways Team? It would also help if we could know the eligibility conditions to be considered for selection.

I think one of the requirements is that you have to work with the Railways. I may be wrong about this though.

I heard that you can be given a shot in the team if you train with them regularly. They can also employ you in the Railways if they like your perfomance.

You can join an academy by which you get to play local matches then play on the district level. If they like your performance they can give you an offer to play for them.

One of the eligibility criteria is that you must have been playing cricket for three years. You also must be both physically and mentally fit.

In order to join the Railways team, either you or your parents should be an employee of Railways. I am pretty sure exceptions can be made if you are exceptionally good though.
