What are your thoughts? Will Australia bring back Symonds? They have said that he will have to prove himself in order to return to the team. What do you think they well require as proof, if not his word?

Well you know, fishing is hardly as important as playing for your national cricket team. The guy was asking for trouble, and I think that they will want to see a good deal of commitment before they bring him back.

I just did a search to see what else I could find out and I run across an article that notes "Gilchrist also slammed Harbhajan for his role in the Sydney Test for which he was charged on grounds of racial abuse against Andrew Symonds".........what is going on in the world? It seems many times over we end up with things like this that just make us all wonder if there are decent people left anymore. And why do sportsmen feel they can get away with this type of thing?

Well you know, that kind of thing seems to happen a lot. Sportsmen do seem to think that for some reason, they are invisible once they are not wearing the team colours.

Some even tend to think it when they are wearing the team colors! I have seen some rowdy bunches before but most in this sport take the cake.

I disagree. On the whole I think that cricket is a game for gentlemen, and on the whole that is the behaviour that we see. Now football (both varieties) that is where the trouble lies.

Any sports can have those types really thinking about it more now. It seems in some sports though people can keep their cool better.
