Gunners Bid Turned Down

Arsenal recently put in a bid for Christian Zapata, and it was a decent size bid too. But his club turned it down-so who do you think that they will be going for next, or will they leave it at that?

Maybe they feel that Zapata will be an integral component to the team this year. Who knows, maybe they just are holding out for a higher offer.

I have no idea why a bid for £9.5million was turned down but there has to be something about it we just don't know about yet. Thats the only thing logical.

Maybe, or maybe they just think they can squeeze a bit more out of Arsenal? Either that or they think the guy has huge potential and don't want to let him go.

Could you imagine making that kind of money? It's crazy what sports players are paid, especially when you look at all the famine in the world!

That's certainly not the most that's being pushed around right now. It's pretty shocking I agree. I think now that there is too much of a demand for ever higher price tags.
