Is any one better than Kobe is right now? I think that the only one who can even challenge his dominance is Lebron James. Besides him I dont think any player can dominate a game like Kobe

No one can beat Michael Jordan.

Shaquille O'Neal, Ben Wallace, Kevin Garnett, Alan Iverson, Tracy McGrady, all had the potential to be the best but Kobe and LeBron certainly stand out the most. I think that Kobe is great but its only because we have seen the likes of Magic Johnson, Larry Bird and Michael Jordan play, that we don't think he is a legend as yet. However, both Kobe and LeBron are legends in their own rights and besides T-Mac, I don't think that anybody had it to come up and grab them.

Kobe is in a class that is hard to beat. But the idea that any one man is the best is subjective. He also meshes well in the Laker's scheme. You have LeBron, Dwayne Wade and Dwight Howard. They all, in their own way, shine heads and tails above anyone else. As much as I hate to admit it, I am a Cavs Fan Club Member, Kobe is a fraction of a hair above Le Bron. If LeBron gets more consistent with his long range game and improves his free throw percentage, then he will reign supreme.
