I was reading an article in which Real Madrid's Pepe said that the game changed when Alonso was injured. Do you think Alonso is as important to the team as Pepe has made him out to be? I think he is a great player, but they still pulled off a win once they pulled themselves back together.

I think that he is a very creative player & could very well turn out to be one of the greats in Real madrid. But the question is is he going to actually play or just warm the bench??

It really doesn't matter what we think of Alonso's importance to the team. If the other team players believe he is that important it will affect their confidence in games played without him. I think that is what happened at first. Once they realized he was just one part of the team and not the whole they turned themselves back around again.

I can understand to some extent in making the change however to do things how they did was confusing and led people to believe that Alonso was as important as that and now people say that is not what the point of the switch was. Either way, they need to get things situated and not do that swapping around the teams stuff anymore. Leave things how they are I say, unless something involving the majority of the team occurs.
