If this done by all football teams, the world is a much better place. I think their charity work in Swaziland could have been better if there are players, not just the president and the vice-president, who have visited the children.

Most teams have some players that do charity work or the team does it as a whole. Its not always publicized but most do it. Volunteering in soup kitchens, passing out toys to kids, donating money, and other things are some of the many ways different sports figures help out that might not make the news.

It is sometimes better that the media doesn't always know what these athletes are doing. When a popular player is doing something, the media is adding some not so good thoughts about it so that the news would be interesting.

Let's remember though, sports figures can do so much and many should do more, but that doesnt stop us the little people from doing our fair share too.

I would love to see more people doing this type of thing. Sports folk or not, charity can go a long way to help those in need.
