It's a six week vacation for the Spur's Luka Modric. I'm afraid this is going to hurt their great start to the season. Hopefully, they can keep things together until his return.
There are always those who will believe that there are conspiracies to credit when things do not go swiftly and someone ends up hurt and out of play. Some are accurate in assuming and some are not at all.
I can't see that as being true-I really have a hard time with ideas like that. It would suggest that the player himself was ok with it, when in truth he would be risking his income.
Hmmm....I don't think I'm buying into this one. Maybe I'm just being dense, but how would they benefit from taking Modric out. In any case I don't think he would go along with that plan.
Exactly, all it is going to do is cause problems all around, and to suggest that it is deliberate-well what would the motivation be? Who could be behind something like that-I just can't believe it.
That is my thinking and what I was attempting to point out. Even if there were motivation then who could actually put it into action and do such a thing? It is absurd.
What if it was an inside job and he really just does not want to play anymore? I am always the oddball who thinks up the thinks no one else would but I could see this happening.
That is really unfortunate for Luka and the Spurs. It could have possibly been fixed. I really felt bad for them before given they were already missing key players due to injury. It seems like this team just can't get a break.
I have been reading up that some people are just "at their end" trying to see if this team is worth their support or not. Its a little sad thinking about some of the fans who have been fans for so long but are just ready to give up over all of this "bad luck".
I don't think the fans should throw in the rag just yet. I think just about every team will face some bad luck along the way. I think it is only a matter of time before things turn around.
