Seems like they were too desperate to make a move and settled for the best they could get at the time, as opposed to securing someone, (even backroom style), and having a top name ready to go when they were ready to make the move. This guy has way too little experience.

Grant is very much optimistic about his position as the succeeding manager of Chelsea. But the problem is does he know all the thoughts of his players? Of course the players would be good at the start just to show respect but after sometime, the real feelings will show and that would really affect any game of Chelsea. I just hope Grant would lead them to the top in the football world.

good point in that coaching changes often bring about improved play from players but that usually lasts a game or two at the most....then the adrenalin wears off and the honeymoon is over....long term he is still in over his head.
