Vidic to Return

Not unless he is running an uber high fever and passes out on the field from being over heated. Thats the only thing I could think of.

Vidic looks set to come back during the upcoming Stamford bridge match. He spent time in hospital with a stomach virus recently, but seems to have recovered. I wouldn't think that this is something you have to worry too much about returning too soon would you? I mean you can't re-injure or anything.

I think it's a good idea to play him lightly and give him some match readiness for the ManU vs Chelsea final. He's going to be needed.

I guess I missed that little piece of news somewhere along the way. I didn't realize he was hospitalized. But as you say, if it's just a stomach virus things should be ok. Although, sometimes one can be pretty week for several days after being sick like that.

I'm glad that Vidic is returning to the game but even more important than his return is the need for each of these guys to be giving their 100% on the day. It's good that others than Ronaldo are scoring.
