Hughes thought MU has been given too much extra time so that Michael Owen managed to make another goal to seal a 4-3 win for United in the 96th minute. Hughes believed his team celebrated their last goal for 45 seconds only. So where did the extra 5 minutes come from?

That's a very good question-following the match there was a definite buzz of 'where did they pull the time from'? I haven't a clue-I couldn't see how they got more than four minutes.

We always seem to want extra time for tons of things in life but I am not sure for this how it would even be possible. Can someone really not count? There is no logical answer behind this at all from what I have been reading up on.

I think it was a well deserved win for ManUtd. Because they played really well in the second half... yes the extra time given was little more but then its up to yhe refs to decide....i think it was a well deserved win
