I know this is the manu forum & opinions will be biased. But, in the recent manu vs arsenal match, do you think ronney "dived"? Eduardo did the same thing & was punished by UEFAm right? Thoughts please.

I didn't see this game unfortunately. Is there a clip online at all of the incident? I do think that this kind of thing is far too prevalent, and does need to be clamped down on a little more.

Unfortunately I also missed the game. I hate divers but most players dive. The matter is that the referee sees their cheats or not. In case of Rooney, I think if the diving influenced the (potential) final result of the game significantly, he should be punished. Otherwise just let him go :)

Otherwise just have a giggle at the amateur dramatics ;) Seriously, it can look really silly at times when they do it, so I don't really understand it. I know what they are trying to achieve, but its cheating, simple as.

It does look silly and in my personal opinion I think it is really dumb and not professional at all.

I agree-- if it effected the outcome of the game, then that should have been taken into account. However, either way, it is pretty ridiculous when they do it, and it would be good for the dives to stop.
