Kelly Holcomb is a retired professional football player originally from Tennessee. He spent over a decade playing professional football as a Quarterback in the National Football League.

Bryan Kelly Holcomb was born on July 9, 1973, in Fayetteville, Tennessee, USA. The Quarterback stands 188 cm tall, and his weight was last listed at 98 kg.

He attended Lincoln County High School in his hometown, where he led the football team to a state championship. Following graduation, Holcomb committed to play for Middle Tennessee State University from 1991 to 1994. During his time with the Blue Raiders, he became the school's all-time passing leader, earned All-OVC honors twice, and led the team to an Ohio Valley Conference Championship.

Professional Career

Every franchise bypassed him throughout the 1995 NFL Draft. Consequently, he entered professional football holding unselected free agent status before being signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

During his professional career, he spent time on the Buccaneers' practice squad and played for the Barcelona Dragons of the World League of American Football before signing on with the Indianapolis Colts.

He found his most notable success during his tenure with the Cleveland Browns. In the 2002 season, he helped lead the Browns to the postseason and famously started the AFC Wild Card playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, throwing for 429 yards and three touchdowns in a narrow defeat.

He later started games for the Buffalo Bills and concluded his playing days with the Minnesota Vikings before officially retiring in 2008.

For his athletic achievements, he was later inducted into both the Middle Tennessee State Athletics Hall of Fame and the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame.
