Carey Alexander Davis is a fullback who played professionally for the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers and lastly for the Wazhington Redskins. After playing in college for the University of Illinois, Davis did stints with the Indianapolis Colts in 2004 and then as a practice squad or off-season team member with the Atlanta Falcons (2004), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2005- 2006) and the Miami Dolphins (2006).

At Pittsburgh, Davis competed for the starting fullback position against veteran Dan Kreider, sharing the spot until Kreider torn his ACL against the Miami Dolphins. In his initial season with the Steelers, Davis played on both sides of the ball.

On offense in 2007, he had 17 carries for 68 yards and 12 receptions for 49 yards. He earned 18 tackles (11 solo tackles) while playing on defense.

At 5-10, 225 pounds, Davis is small for a fullback but uses his low center of balance to push into and past opponents. He has a solid work ethic, is a team player and possesses a never say die attitude.
