Andre Frazier is a linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the NFL. After playing college ball for Cincinnati in Conference USA, Frazier, was undrafted free agent in 2005. In college, he was Conference USA All-Freshman (2001) and Conference USA First-Team in 2003 and 2004.
Frazier excels at special teams play. He possesses speed and the ability to read and cover the open field. He’s excellent when in pursuit, utilizing his athleticism, long arms and innate speed to track down ball carriers. Although not strong enough to play every down, Frazier, who is fine playing the outside in a 3-4 scheme, makes an excellent backup.
In three seasons, he’s been in 32 games, making 32 tackles with 25 being solo stops. He’s had one sack. During the 2007 season, Frazier was released by the Cincinnati Bengals after just two games and then signed by the Steelers that same season. He was re-signed by the Steelers team to a two year contract basis of $1.375 million dollars with signing bonus of $125,000 on March 12. By 31st September, 2010, he was released by the team. At present, he is a free agent.
