Wide receiver Adrian Jarrard Arrington, who played college football for Michigan, was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in round seven of the 2008 NFL Draft. Arrington was the 237th overall pick. Presently, he plays for the New Orleans Saints team.
With the Michigan Wolverines, Arrington played in 35 games, making 18 starts. In that time, he caught 109 passes for a total of 1,438 yards (13.2 YPC), scoring 16 touchdowns. He won the Super Bowl Championship title (XLIV).
At six-foot-three and 192 pounds, the wideout is good sized and should be a fine target in the red zone. He has better than average speed but will need to work on his route running, cuts and handwork. He has the potential to be a fine blocker and a legitimate number two pass catcher. On August 29, 2008, he was placed on injured reserve due to a toe injury. He will not play in the 2008 season.
