DeAndre James D.J. Hackett is a former American football player who last played for the Washington Redskin as their wide receiver. Hackett went to Pomona First Baptist Private School and San Dimas High School, where he was an athlete student for football, basketball, and track. He received honors in football during his senior years, such as All-Inland Valley honors and Los Angeles All-Star team.
Professional Career as a Football Player
Hackett played for the Seattle Seahawks from 2004 to 2007, as he signed a two-year contract worth $3.5 million. During his stay with the Seahawks, he made 105 receptions with a total of 1,394 yards. Right after his contract, he was traded to the Carolina Panthers, but his stay with the team was short-lived. He, then, joined the Washington Redskins in 2009 to replace Roydell Williams. In the same year, he was released by the Redskins.Post-Football Career
Hackett was seen on the game show, Family Feud, in 2014, but his family wasn't able to win the episode. He also had a vending company in Arizona, which only produces organic foods to aid the improvement of school nutrition.Achievements:
