Professional Career
He joined the NFL in 2007 and was a 6th-round pick, chosen by the Dallas Cowboys. That year, he was named to the Pro Bowl as a rookie. In the same year, he was also named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team. He played with the Cowboys through to 2009.
His next long stint in the NFL was with the New York Jets. He played with the team from 2010 to 2016. Then in 2017, he was signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 2019, he was with the Arizona Hotshots. Also in 2019, he signed with the New England Patriots. He re-signed with the Patriots to a two-year extension in March 2022.
